I'm still learning a little bit about ATProto, and it's got some pretty cool uses. I didn't know I could just... Publish shit "directly" from BlueSky like this, and this seems quite useful.

I guess I'll start this post by talking a little bit about myself, my life and what led me to where I am today. If anything, it's just a test run.

So, let's begin.

Hi! My name is Pixel, but you can call me Pixie or Lemmy. Whichever you think sounds better! I'm 27 years old and my birthday is on the 20th of May! I'm Brazilian, born and raised. I speak Portuguese, English and (piss-poor) Spanish.

I'm one of those he/him lesbians - I am not a man, despite the male gendered language, I just prefer to use he/him. Somedays I'm a woman, somedays I'm transmasc, but most of the time I'm queer and bedrotting. I have ADHD and GAD, but I'm being very dutiful with my therapy and my meds, and life's improving a lot! I'm a fat fuck and I love it.

My special interest is my inner world—my OCs and original characters, and everything to do with them—, but I also like watching documentaries, singing, cooking, painting with watercolors, playing life sim/cozy games, and sleeping. My favourite animal is the cat, my favourite color is the rainbow, and my favourite drink is Monster Energy, the standard flavour.

I had a pretty happy, standard childhood. I had good parents, good education and good opportunities, which I believe weren't wasted. I was bullied in middle school (who hasn't? lol) and so, to escape that hellhole, I found out about the internet and fell headfirst into anime culture. I believe I was around 12-13 years old or so. I've been part of many communities and fandoms over the years. I was even on kinnie Tumblr (RIP). Then, as soon as I turned 18, I became a primarily NSFW artist and that's what I've been doing ever since! I also have a day job, which is what actually supports me financially.

To me, art is a fun passtime above everything. I'm a hobbyist artist, so I don't intend on ever going into the industry and whatnot—I'm content with getting the occasional commissioned work from friends or people who like my art, but I'm mostly here to play dolls with my friends' OCs and draw weird porn. If I grow, I grow, if I don't, I don't! And life goes on.

Politically, I'm extremely left-leaning. Gay rights, trans rights, BLM, anti-cop, pro-choice, etc. etc. I'm also very sex-positive and kink-friendly; if no real, living-breathing creature is being harmed, then what a person jacks off to is none of my business. In terms of fandom politics, I'm very profic/proship. Religiously, I'm what's called an apatheist and an antitheist. Meaning, I don't care if God exists, and if he does (supposing he is all-powerful, yadda-yadda), he's either uncaring or straight-up evil.

What else? I really like watching animation movies in general, especially anime. My favorite movie is Disney's The Little Mermaid. I listen to just about every kind of music; if it's pleasing, I listen to it. I don't discriminate based on genre. I don't really have social media outside of my art accounts (and messaging apps, which I use to talk to my friends and family, of course). I prefer to stay on the unpopular/niche websites, and I curate my social media heavily.

I don't have much more to say about myself! Everything else is either private information and/or things you'll learn about me by actually talking to me and becoming my friend... Which isn't very difficult. Be nice to me, and I'll be nice to you! Be mean to me, and I'll instantly block you LOL
