haiku.garden — a small self-hosted home for the Naviar Haiku community on ATProto — has a first version live.
What works today: sign up at join.haiku.garden with an invite code, and instead of landing on a blank account, you get a real profile on blento.app already populated for you — a Bluesky feed embed plus slots for your plyr.fm and Bandcamp links, picked from a "musician" starter theme. Poet and general-community themes exist too.
Under the hood it's two systems talking to each other: your own account on a real ATProto PDS (yours, portable, not locked to us), and a small script that writes your starter profile the moment you verify your email. You'll get two emails during signup — one to verify, one later to set your own password — that's deliberate, not a bug: it's the only ordering that lets us hand you a fully-populated profile without needing your password along the way.
What's still rough: this is aimed at Season 2 and the musical use cases in mind for it, and that part — richer embeds, more theme variety, an actual design for the signup page itself — is very much in progress. Consider this an early look, not a finished product.
If you've got an invite code, come try it: join.haiku.garden
