I'm practicing writing and sharing things in novel ways. This page is written in Leaflet.pub, and the bookmark collection was made with raindrop.io. They are both open source programs, and I use them regularly to write and collect stuff around the internet!

I really believe that basic digital literacy is foundational to giving people any sovereignty over how they interact with technology. There are awesome alternatives to mainstream software, they just take a bit of awareness and intention to find. We're not gonna get anywhere if people's entire perspective of the internet is owned by Google and Meta.

The internet is awesome and we've barely scratched the surface of how it can connect us. There are deep currents of action around technology already in motion, and we have to understand the ground that AI is growing out of to be able to understand where its going.

Tech may be big and scary, but creative work and personal connections is still how we make meaning together.
