haiku.garden devlog #3 — a garden of your own
Something new, still early: every member can get a small piece of generative art instead of a blank avatar — a haiku garden scene, unique to them.
It's rendered straight from your did:plc document, the same public identity record that already proves who you are on the network. That document gets canonicalized, run through HKDF, and split into a few independent traits: which of our three palettes you get (paper, dusk, or moss), how many stones sit in the raked sand, whether there's bamboo, where the moon or sun sits, a few scattered petals. Same document, same garden, every time.
Not wired into signup yet, and it doesn't need to be perfectly permanent to be worth doing — it's artwork, not a certificate.
