loved reading this post but especially this part here as it puts into words why i love it. i'm one of those ao3 commenters who love leaving the essay length comments but in order to do those i always split my laptop screen and type up as i go quoting the doc. this is really a game changer imo! thank you <3 it is sooo much fun to do. it's nice to make a little project for yourself and it also ends up look real neat on your computer or e-reader too!i think they ended up better as what they are, a fun tv show or film series imagining aus for each song of hyperdrama. there is so much i would go back and change but still proud of myself for making them!haha bless, i always love hearing your thoughts too as you always got some cool stuff to share <3 definitely a great idea. i went through the old livejournals and copy/pasted what i could because who knows how long those will survive...electrofic will be preservedyeah it’s really tender! hope you enjoy the prologue trueyes! the visual component really adds to writing epistolry, especially to mark the passage of time, get a brief glimpse into the receiver’s feelings. bang on about the graphic design nod, it’s also light pseudoscience (lol) depending on how you feel about graphology. haha! though the fic is definitely fantasy realm i did take inspiration from real life places. saint-saturnin is definitely real, as is saturnin of toulouse. the scholarly vibes in footnotes are huge for the full fic and why i wanted to try this commenting style as i think it would suit the meta narrative. also you are right about it being similar to video game item descriptions, i love writing those - i was very inspired by soulsborne and the Witcher 3. i really love writing video game inventory stuff, idk whyloveeed this installment, really lovely to read! buggles cosplay, it's a beautiful niche! would still love to see them dress up again as their influences sometime (one can dream, but with xavier talking about marc bolan so often - would be fun).
