I just wanted to say this is being a HUGE help so far. most of the packages for PHP are underdeveloped, so I'm rolling my own bsky auth for it (...for rolling my own appview) and boy is there a lack of walkthroughs out there that don't operate with the assumption that you have a client library that just works! I'm still trying to get the PAR request to work but this is way farther than I was yesterday.
That’s great to hear! Happy it helped at least one person that makes my day 😊

In designing a location format containing anything other than lat/lon data, time plays an essential role, and needs to be be designed in from the beginning - at what time (or time interval) does the location description hold. For example street names can change, or there can be finer changes - the street of a house I used to live in had all of its addresses renumbered at some point. The business at a location can change while the building remains the same. For example the Elm City Diner in New Haven CT was a long time greasy spoon. In 1981 new owners transformed it into an upscale dining spot with a pianist that kept that name. Even later it became an Indian restaurant called Tandoor. If I want to location tag photos of 1226 Chapel St, I should have at least 3 business options that don't conflict because they refer to different time periods. https://arnoldzwicky.org/2016/01/21/the-elm-city-diner/
Absolutely, that’s why the checkin record refers to an address record that is stored together with the checkin on your pds. So your checkin records your visit at a specific time for a specific venue “at that time”

I think you're right on the big chunks. But combined with planning mode and some back and forth before it starts this is insanely powerful. Like huge days worth of human time features just single shotted. mind blowing honestly.
