Det finns en bit över 3 000 så kallade PDS:er som använder AT-protokollet som Bluesky bygger på. Den överlägset största är Bluesky som har cirka 91% av alla användare. Totalt finns det cirka 45 miljoner användare. Näst störst är Bridgy-Fed och därefter följer de euopeiska Eurosky och W Social. Bridgy-Fed är Mastodonkonton (ActivityPub) som gjort sig tillgängliga för användare av AT-protokollet.

W Social är ett socialt medium som använder sig av AT-protokollet. Sajten ägs av det svenska företaget W Social AB och för att få ett konto måste användarna legtimera sig med ett godkänt ID.

Nachdem Felix Schwenzel mehrfach über das AT Protokoll schrieb (zuletzt hier), wurde ich neugierig. Und als ich herausfanden, dass ich die eigene Domain als Handle nehmen kann, war klar, dass ich das ausprobiere. Also besorgte mir einen Account bei eurosky.social und verband es mit meiner Domain (es reichte einen TXT Record im DNS zu setzen)....

De flesta europeiska användare i ATmosphere finns på Blueskys PDS:er i USA. Det finns dock ett par mycket omskrivna europeiska satsningar på att bygga upp PDS:er för AT-protokollet.
