Hi Bailey, that's really helpful. I'm wondering what the pros and cons of being on a different Server (moving my PDS) might be? Would BlueSky treat that PDS differently in any way to one its hosting? Thanks.
Hey, thank you! Mostly ends up being preference. Bluesky will treat other PDSs the same, it's even actually the same code running for Bluesky as it is for most independent PDSs. Usually users move to a different PDS for the ability to have more control over their data/account, or for a server that may have moderation rules more in align with what they want out of their online experience on the atmosphere.Bailey Townsend 🦀 replied on Beyond the Statusphere: Part 2, ATProto OAuth, the TLDR

i love your thoughts on PDS MOOver's simplicity and ease of use! it's a really good ethos to have especially as it's aimed for non-technical users (but not excluding technical users through its simplicity too!)
