will definitely check these recommendations out! absolutely loved seeing the beths on here - they’re one of my fave bands going right now, whatever is in the water in new zealand it sure is excellent because they always know how to churn out indie bands that hit like no other!

i loved reading this so much. i really miss the era of handheld consoles - true handhelds, not like the switch, but things like the ps vita and the nintendo ds family for the exact reasons here! pictochat was such a fun time, going on school trips or sleepovers to friends houses etc, all the kids in my neighbourhood would use pictochat to talk to each other. it was cute! i still carry my 3ds with me wherever i go, it's modded now, i take it to concerts for low quality photos and find it so endearing esp bc others do the same too! it's nice to see such a beloved device holding strong. goes to show how much we love and need something like it!

absolutely yes check out ninajirachi, i think you'd enjoy the album and her vibe in general, she's GREAT! she really has that charm of someone that's spent hours trawling youtube or soundcloud mixes etc, so fun.

also of course bibi and yves worth checking out too! really loved those releases. lowlife princess still my fave bibi release but this new album is super fun!
