Semble collections would be nice!

In a pseudo-Substacky way, maybe what we want are Notes, with comments being one type of note. Notes could play one of many roles: 

1. Block level commenting
2. Connecting multiple leaflet posts, i.e., a hyperlink with attached content, which could, in turn, lead to a graph view a la Obsidian
3. Standalone pieces of content that can be quoted 
4. Metadata for backlinks etc etc
