i sort of largely agree, but i think one of the main reasons people are so bristly about ai generated content is that it frequently IS generated to mislead people. its not just "look at this cozy place i staged" its "you could buy this product (that isnt real)" or "look how happy this otter and this turtle are (neither of them exist)"

these sort of AI vibe reels and photos are not intrinsically harmful for existing, but they become harmful when people knowingly or unknowingly pass them off as authentic.
