Really appreciate you putting all of this together. The idea of building for enablement really resonates. Technology as infrastructure that communities can build on to create their own sustainable livelihoods, rather than just another product for them to consume - that’s something I’m thinking about a lot with my projects and I’ll definitely be carrying a lot of this into how I approach building them. Thank you for such a thoughtful and informative piece!I completely agree with all of your points! Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed response.
I like the notion of the Atmosphere being an 'everything ecosystem' rather than 'everything app' - infinite parts of this ecosystem can create better experiences that are better suited to the users and communities they are built to serve. One *part* of that ecosystem is payments rails and that's what I'm alluding to here.
Supper is a product built on top of that but there should be inifnitely more products that creators can choose from and build themselves that best suit them - far better than anything X or any other centralised app could ever build!
I hope these experiences that are better tailored for the real needs of the communities that use them will result in the kinds of cultural artifcats you mention.
I agree atproto isn't the selling point - most users on bluesky don't know what it is, but the apps and services we can build on atproto (and that are better because of it) are.
Great feedback and I look forward to reading more if you decide to do a full post on this!Test!
